Weddings

Halloj!

V i l k e t veckoslut!!! hääärligt!! På tapeten var bröllop! Vi sku åka till Ekenäs på M&J's bröllop, men skulle faktist ha haft 2 andra bröllop samma helg, ett i H:fors och ett i Melbourne..men man kan int hinna till alla och detta bröllop har jag väntat på i ett år =D och vilket fin fint bröllop det var!! Solen sken och det regna lite grann så även regnbågen visa sig, en lite liknande som den utanför vår lägenhet idag. Brudparet var så vackert och det bara stråla av kärlek runt omkring dem :)) bättre än så kan det inte bli...nej, visst kan det, för maten...maten på bröllopet var ingen vanlig buffa grej, utan gjord av brudens bror som är Chef de Cuisine och hade planerat en helt hääärlig bröllops meny!! njom njom njom!!

Själva resan till Ekenäs var en aning...spännande..för vi reste med G olika tider från Stavanger till Oslo, han en timme senare än jag, men vi skulle båda åka med samma flyg till Helsingfor... med sista flyget från Oslo till Helsingfors...nååh, då jag landar i Oslo ringer G och meddelar att hans flyg är 40min försenat vilket betydde att hans plan skulle landa i Oslo 10 min före vårt plan till H:fors skulle lyfta...INTE en bra kombination...medan han sitter på sitt försenade plan sitter jag och googlar hotell åt oss i H:fors ifall han sku först slippa(via Köpenhamn) till på natten eller komma först på morgonen..pratade med portpersonalen över att om de kan hålla planet eftersom min andra halva måst hinna med..och som tur var vårat andra plan 15min försenat och i sista sista minuten kom min prins springande genom Oslos flygfält och hann just och just med flyget...phew säger jag! och resväskan hans kom också..tro det eller ej :)

Nu tillbaka i Stavanger och har 10 dagar framför mig här utan G då han är på jobb i NY...blaah..har redan sett dom 4 första delarna av Grey's anatomy säsong 8 och ätit upp en halv låda med lösgodis...undrar hur dehär 10 dagarna kommer att sluta :P

What a weekend!! All about weddings! We would have actually had two other weddings too this same saturday(what's up with the same dates?) but this wedding I have been waiting for for a year and this G even knew about like...well, since we met so he could book this quite early in his calender ;) The wedding took place in Tammisaari, a small cost-city in the south of Finland, about an hours drive from Helsinki. The weather was perfect: sunny with a clear blue sky and the beautiful autumn leaves in the trees. A small rainfall didn't hurt(ok ok...so we took the car while most guest walked from the church to the venue so we didn't get wet) as it was followed by a beautiful rainbow. Similar to the one outside our house today :) and the newly weds were shining with happiness and love :))) so happy for you guys!!! And to top it all, the menu was made by the brides brother who is a Chef de Cuisine and the food was sooooooooooo good!! 


The trip to the wedding didn't go off just as smooth, as we were flying from Stavanger to Oslo with different planes, me leaving first and G following an hour later and then we were flying from Oslo to Helsinki together. But when I land in Oslo, G calls me and tells me his plane is an hour late and that he will be landing in Oslo 10 min before our next plane was lifting off...not a happy moment.. me looking for hotels in Helsinki in case I had to wait for him until Saturday morning, sad if he wouldn't make it.. talked to the boarding personnel and they said that the plane was 15 min late with leaving so that gave him some minutes more...he did at the end make it but oh my goodness how close it was that he wouldn't have. But all well in the end :)) and even his luggage made it, believe it or not!


Now I'm back in Stavanger, 10 days without my love as he is back in US working and packing up his house(going to rent it out). I have now idea of how these ten days will end as I've already watched all the newest episodes of Grey's and eaten half a box of candy...not good :P
